One of the most interesting places in Arizona to visit is Lake Havasu. The scenery there is gorgeous, and the climate very nice in the winters. Lake Havasu City has a variety of tourist related activities, and primary among them is the lake itself and London Bridge. There is great fishing, boating, water skiing, and swimming. Lake Havasu has a number of casinos, as well, so if you do not want to drive all the way to Las Vegas, consider going to Lake Havasu City for a weekend.
Hotels and motels in Lake Havasu City are fairly affordable because the gambling they anticipate you will do will underwrites the expense of operating the hotels. The food in these casino hotels is reasonably good and relatively inexpensive.
Getting to Lake Havasu City by car is easy; some people even sign up for weekend trips that transport groups for a weekend of gambling and fun. These tours are much less expensive than driving your own car, and by having someone drive you, you can sit back and relax, read a book, or chat with a friend or companion.
