I have friends who live in Nevada and Arizona, and we decided that Lake Havasu Arizona is a good half-way point to meet. We can reserve hotel rooms, and have a great time on the lake, boating, fishing, and swimming. In most climates, Labor Day signals the end of summer, but sadly, summer drags on and on in Arizona and Nevada, and spending a long weekend in Lake Havasu Arizona will offer some relief from the incessant heat with all the amenities found on the lake and in the hotels there. These hotels have great air conditioning, pretty good food, and lots of other entertainment, besides. Lake Havasu Arizona is a tourist destination, with outdoor and indoor activities that will suit everyone, so it will not be hard to stay entertained over the long holiday weekend in the ferocious heat that the last months of summer bring to the desert-we plan on experiencing temperatures well over 100 for the weekend.
