This Lake Havasu Real Estate Is No Bargain |

Did you know that 80% of the vacant homes in Lake Havasu City are seasonal homes? That is a staggering percentage. Lake Havasu real estate is a good investment for people who live in northern climates who want a warm place to spend the winter, and it is within a two to three day drive of most of the cold, damp cities north of Arizona, like Washington, Montana, Oregon, Idaho, and northern California. Lake Havasu real estate is not necessarily cheap, either. The lowest listing price I found this morning for a single family home was $94,000 and the highest was $3 million dollars for 6500 square feet. Lake Havasu City is a scenic place to live, as the Lake Havasu real estate prices indicate. It's hard to say how long that $3 million dollar home will be on the market, but it's not likely that the locals will be able to afford it. Winters in Lake Havasu City are nice, but for that kind of money, I think I would prefer a place that didn't get over 115 routinely in the summertime. |
