Even before summer officially arrives (that's on June 20th, people, in case anyone's forgotten or you don't have a calendar handy) the heat in Arizona has been hovering above 110 degrees, with heat advisories every day of the week. When it's like this outside, nobody goes outdoors unless they have to, and  most people huddle inside in the AC until the sun goes down. It's just the price people in the Southwest, especially in southern Arizona, pay for the beautiful weather they enjoy in the winter, spring and late fall. When the weather scorches, that's when many Arizonans break out their Sea Ray Boat or Magic Power boat and head up to Lake Havasu Arizona for a Havasu Lake party. If you've planned ahead, then you've already invested in some Lake Havasu real estate and put your own floating pleasure palace up in Lake Havasu boat dry storage. So it's time to pile the wife and kids, or if you're single, a gang of fun people, into your car and head for Lake Havasu for some fun on the lake away from the broiling desert heat.         While it's true that for a lot of college kids during Spring Break Lake Havasu is the destination of choice, for most people, it's the weekends, or during their vacations when the kids are on Summer Break and want to have some fun. If you're a real fan of life on the lake, then undoubtedly you'll have a picture of you fishing at Lake Havasu, or partying hearty with some Lake Hottie in a skimpy bikini. And while it's a relief to get out of the heat during the summer, that shouldn't blind you to the fun to be had during the rest of the year when the weather is much milder. Lake Havasu may be cooler in the Spring and Fall, but you don't have to worry so much about getting sunburned after spending a day out on the lake fishing, boating, water skiing or what have you. And at night a Lake Havasu party is much cooler as you throw some burgers on the grill and knock back a few cold ones while telling your friends lies about the big fish that got away. It's really quite pleasant at Lake Havasu Arizona all year round. And if boating and swimming lose their allure, you can always visit Lake Havasu City to take in the sights that include the original London Bridge, which was moved there back in the 1970's. It's a bizarre sight to be sure, but it's one of the features that makes Lake Havasu Arizona one of the premiere tourist destinations in the state.
